CBD gummies at Hemppy
At Hemppy, CBD gummies are a small, supporting range next to our CBD oils, from our partner brands.
Legal status first
CBD gummies are a food. In the EU, CBD used in food is considered a novel food that needs an authorisation before it can be sold, and some countries apply extra rules to CBD in confectionery. We show Buy links only in countries where we have confirmed that promoting the product is permitted. This category may change. Read more in What is CBD?
What to look for on the pack
- CBD per gummy and gummies per pack: together they give the total CBD in the pack.
- Spectrum: full spectrum, broad spectrum or isolate, as on a CBD oil label.
- Ingredients: for example the gelling agent (gelatine or pectin), sweeteners and flavours, as listed by the manufacturer.
- Batch number: links the pack to the laboratory’s certificate of analysis (COA) for that batch.
Gummies and oils compared
A gummy contains a fixed, declared amount of CBD per piece, while an oil is measured in drops from a dropper. Gummies also contain the ingredients of a sweet, such as sugar or sweeteners, gelling agents, colours and flavours, so the ingredient list and allergen information matter more than for a plain oil. As with oils, the label gives the declared CBD content and the batch lab report gives the measured one. We make no claim that one format works better than the other.
